Web Site Statistics
Knowing how much traffic your web site receives and which are the most popular pages on your site can help to define and develop your site to be more targeted towards its visitors.

A basic traffic summary is accessible from within the customer control panel but for a more in depth analysis of visitors, hits, most popular pages, referrers (where people found your site) and other useful information we can offer a fully featured log file analyzer.

MySQL
MySQL is an open source database tool which has found rapid popularity due to its speed and cost. Host365 can provision MySQL and PHP on any Shared or Managed Server.

ASP
Active Server Pages is Microsoft’s dynamic web site to database scripting language. We offer ASP support on Windows servers to reduce incompatibility issues with Apache ASP.

ColdFusion Server Extensions
ColdFusion is a fast scripting language ideal for e-commerce and enterprise applications which interfaces with most ODBC databases. Host365 has offered Cold Fusion hosting since inception and has several major clients who depend on it (see Case Studies).

FrontPage Server Extensions
Microsoft FrontPage extensions are required when your site is built using Microsoft’s popular FrontPage design tool. The extensions enable the various built in functions included with FrontPage such as forms.

Secure Server - SSL
If you need to take credit card orders over the Internet, you customer needs to be sure their card details are protected from potential fraud. An SSL Certificate on your web site sets up a safe link between your buyer’s computer and your web site, encrypting the data flow and thereby avoiding snooping of sensitive information. This enables you to receive orders via email and run the card through your existing card clearing system.

Host365 relies on Thawte for the provision of reliable SSL certificates which are recognized by all browser types. While cheaper SSL certificates can be found, there is a danger that it will not be recognized by and cause errors in the buyer’s browser which can act as a deterrent to valuable sales.

Included in the price is the full setup of the SSL certificate on your web site, liaison with Thawte and yearly renewal and re-installation of the certificate.

Online Credit Card Authorisation

The natural progression from online order taking with offline card processing is to process the sale online. This method means that your order processing totals the transaction costs and interacts with an online credit card merchant to take the funds from the buyer’s credit card in real time.

The funds for the transaction are then deposited directly into your bank account so all you need to do is ship the orders, safe in the knowledge that the funds are already on their way to your account. We work together with your card clearing company to set up the whole service.

£500 setup + ongoing % of sale (dependant on your merchant agreement).
